REMINDER: The ESO schedules academic rooms in the Sorrell building with priority for student credit courses use. Therefore, we schedule space by semester according to the academic calendar with the following priority.

1. Credit courses
2. Non-credit activities

Additional Information

When reserving space in MSC, please remember the following:

  • The outside entrances to the MSC are open from 6:00 AM until 6:00 PM Monday through Friday (closed for major holidays). Access to the building before 6:00 AM or after 6:00 PM must be arranged with campus security well in advance of the activity.
  • Activities in MSC are scheduled to start on the hour or half hour and must conclude 20 or 50 minutes after the hour.
  • Once your MSC room has been confirmed, you will be responsible for contacting the appropriate department for any additional needs related to your event – catering, environmental services, ITS, security, parking, etc.
  • NO FOOD OR BEVERAGES are permitted in the technology labs (1010 and 1012). Food and beverages are only permitted in seminar or interaction rooms if there is a full-time UNMC/TNMC faculty or staff member sponsoring the activity.
