Our four brand values are leadership, commitment to excellence, working together and being a trusted resource. Pick one and tell us a time you witnessed it embodied at UNMC.
During one week in October there were several large events going on and I needed help. The administrative assistants, accountants and others in the College of Public Health joined forces. They helped me move tables, set up and clean the rooms, organize packets, supervise catering, greet and direct guests to the event. Without all this help, the events would not have gone as well as they did.
List three things people may not know about you.
- I am a certified trainer for Cub Scout leaders and Roundtable Commissioner in the Mid-America Council, Boy Scouts of America.
- I am the president of the Ashland Youth Ball Association (AYBA).
- I assist the unemployed and under-employed in their job search, resume/portfolio, interview prep, tips and support. I facilitate an employment networking meeting twice-a-month.
Robin is VITAL to our COPH! She is a dedicated employee who is not only efficient, but also always willing to help her coworkers when they need a hand. She has a great sense of humor, to boot, which makes the work environment more fun.
It is my great pleasure to know her since she joined UNMC. We were in the same Section and I could see her smile whenever I went to the office or met her on hallway. She was very helpful in every way. A wonderful young leady has a lovely family. Thanks, Robin!
We love Robin in the COPH! She always has a smile in one pocket and duct tape in the other!
As a new admin asst to the CoPH, I have had many occasions when I didn't know something and went to Robin for assistance. She is the kind of person that can make you feel welcome right from the beginning, she has a great sense of humor, and if she gets frazzled she doesn't show it. I didn't know all these things about Robin that she has shared, but I can't say I'm surprised that she helps in so many ways.
