Annual faculty award nomination deadline March 15

The nomination deadline for the UNMC Faculty Senate's annual awards is quickly approaching.

The Faculty Senate recognizes faculty for meritorious teaching or service at its annual meeting, which this year will be on April 25.

Nominations must be emailed no later than Friday, March 15 for consideration of the following awards:

  • Four Outstanding Teacher Awards,
  • One Spirit of Community Service Award, and
  • One Outstanding Faculty Mentor of Graduate Students Award.

    Persons holding faculty appointments at UNMC are eligible to be nominated for these awards.

    Nomination forms and selection criteria are available on the Faculty Senate web page. Forms also may be obtained from the Office of the Faculty Senate, 559-5132, or lspencer@unmc.edu.

    Nominations must be emailed in pdf format to the Honorary Degrees & Awards Committee, c/o Office of the Faculty Senate, at facultysenate@unmc.edu.
