'The Alliance' in focus -- Jeremy VogelFifty-five members of the UNMC High School Alliance are among the students taking classes at UNMC.

How did you get involved in the alliance?
During my sophomore year in high school, my school's TAG strategist told me about the Alliance so I applied and ended up being put on the wait list. Then last year I reapplied and I was accepted.

In fifth grade we had the chance to dissect deer hearts and since then I have always been interested in science. In the seventh grade I started watching the show, "House" and that is what got me interested in the health sciences.
What are your career aspirations?
I hope to work as a physician in the emergency room.
What has been the best part of your alliance experience?
