Target Audience
This accredited continuing education activity is designed for clinical providers and nurses from MFM, OB, L&D, mother/baby units, outpatient clinics, and QI leaders.
Educational Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, the participants should be better able to:
- Describe the importance of debriefing with patients and the patient's support network after a severe event.
- Identify best practices for effectively conducting a patient debrief.
- Identify strategies to ensure patients and the patient's support network are debriefed after a severe event.
