55 MDG/Ehrling Bergquist Clinicoffers outpatient OB/GYN, Orthopedics, Podiatry, General Surgery, Advanced Surgery, ENT, Outpatient Pediatrics, Advanced Pediatrics, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Internal Medicine, Anesthesia, Urology, Radiology, and Outpatient Family Medicine. The 55 MDG has a very active Advanced Life Support training program. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Life Support Obstetrics (ALSO), Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are provided to all residents during initial training. Residents are usually required to arrive at the residency having already completed ACLS. However, there are ample opportunities to re-certify in ACLS through the active ACLS program at the 55 MDG.

The University of Nebraska Medical Center offers Dermatology, Otolaryngology, Emergency Services, Geriatrics, Inpatient Family Medicine, Neurology, inpatient services, Orthopedics, Outpatient Pediatrics, Urology, Preventive Medicine, Psychiatry, Family Medicine (Behavioral), Computers in Medicine, Community Medicine, Intensive Care Unit, DEM (Diabetes, Endocrinology, Metabolism), and Rheumatology.

Methodist Hospital of Methodist Health Systems, a 430-bed acute care medical facility, offers Emergency Services, Orthopedics, Pediatrics/CMH, Pulmonary, and Surgery.

Veterans’ Administration Medical Center of the VA Nebraska Western Iowa Health Care System, a 100-bed acute care medical facility in addition to 8 residential substance abuse beds, offers Inpatient Internal Medicine, and Nephrology.

Bergan Mercy Medical Center, part of Alegent Health, offers Advanced Pediatrics.

Children's Hospital offers General Inpatient Pediatrics as well as NICU and specialty pediatrics.

Rural sites: where all of our residents complete a 2 month rotation including the outpatient and bedded facilities in Broken Bow, McCook, and Seward, Nebraska. FMR
