Welcome to the combined Ehrling Berquist Clinic- University of Nebraska Medical Center Family Medicine Clerkship web site! This section is designed specifically for military medical students in their third or fourth year of medical school training. We are excited to offer you a variety of unique training opportunities, and eager to show you our dynamic and diverse Family Medicine Residency program.

medicine or simply just need to fulfill your rotation requirements, you will find that Ehrling Bergquist
Clinic Family Medicine Residency is the place to for you to rotate.
We have several attractive features about the rotation that draw students every year.
As a visiting student in our program, you have your very OWN CLINIC!. We will set up several half-day clinics, where the patients are assigned to you as their primary physician. You will have plenty of support from the faculty and are given full hour appointments to interview, evaluate and precept. This part of the rotation gets rave reviews every year.
Our training program is very PROCEDURE-ORIENTED. You will have plenty of opportunities to participate in many procedures, including dermatological surgeries, exercise treadmills, vasectomies, colposcopies, upper endoscopies, colonoscopies, and more.
As a combined program with the University of Nebraska Medical Center, we can offer you exposure to many various clinical settings and academic conferences. One day you may be at the military
clinic attending noon Teaching Series, performing endoscopy, or seeing your own patients
in clinic. The next day you might be at the University of Nebraska Medical Center attending Grand Rounds, or participating in patient care with other residents on the UNMC Inpatient Service or other rotations.
