PROGRAM GOAL:
To educate emergency room physicians and nurses on hemophilia and how to care for patients who present in the ED. |

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
At the completion of this program, the participant should be better able to:
- Describe the coagulopathy of hemophilia, its levels of severity and its treatment.
- Triage the order of hemophilia emergency care.
- List potential sites of hemophilia bleeding in order of severity.
- Demonstrate assessment skills in various bleeding episode scenarios.
- Calculate factor concentrate doses.
