Mission Statement

We believe that continuing nursing education should offer each nurse the opportunity to grow professionally and should positively impact his or her expertise and client outcomes. In doing so, continuing nursing education advances the art and science of nursing. Our Continuing Nursing Education program is committed to providing the highest quality learning activities, using a variety of traditional and nontraditional learning modalities. These activities will enhance each nurse's knowledge, skills, judgement, and attitude in today's complex and ever-changing health care environment. We are here to serve the professional needs of nurses in Nebraska, throughout the United States, and beyond.

The University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing Continuing Nursing Education is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
