Dr. Seo is an assistant professor in the College of Nursing. She received her bachelors degree and master degree in nursing from the Yonsei University College of Nursing, Seoul in Korea, and her doctoral degree from the Case Western Reserve university, Cleveland, OH. Dr. Seo’s clinical background includes medical/surgical nursing. Her first faculty position was at the Yonsei University College of Nursing, Seoul in Korea, and in the USA, was at the Case Western Reserve University, School of Nursing, Cleveland, OH. She joined the faculty at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing in 2007.

Dr. Seo’s research focuses on management of and disability related to heart failure. It includes the comprehensive assessment composed of physiological and psychosocial function and nursing intervention to improve symptoms and function. My research efforts are integrated with this faculty practice and focus on exercise.

Teaching

In clinical course, Dr. Seo has taught adult medical/surgical nursing in the United States America and fundamentals of nursing and health assessment in Korea.
