Mission:  To provide fundamental and continuing education in Pediatric medicine to undergraduate medical and allied health students, graduate medical students, house officers, and physicians.

Vision:  To produce exceptionally well prepared Pediatric physicians and allied health professionals.

In order to successfully fulfill its mission and achieve it vision, the education team within the UNMC Section of Pediatrics believes it must value:

• A commitment to continuously improving the QUALITY of its educational services.

• Participation in RESEARCH and the inclusion of its findings in the educational services offered.

• The EXPERTISE of its faculty and staff and will do whatever is possible to attract and retain that expertise.
