2011 Residency Symposium

An all day event telling you everything there is to know about various specialties, applying for residency programs and choosing the right Residency for you!

This symposium is one of few in the nation and only happens once every two years so register today!
What you can expect from the Residency Symposium:

Keynote Speaker:
Dr. Rajani Katta, Associate Professor of Dermatology at the Baylor College of Medicine and author of "The Successful Match: 200 Rules to Succeed in a Residency Match," will give valuable insight into the application process and tips to make yourself a more competitive applicant.

3 Small group sessions:
Each attendee will be able to select from over 30 different specialties and subspecialties where residents/physicians will speak about the characteristics of their program, what they look for in a standard applicant, salary, hours and anything you care to ask during the Q&A section.

Dr. Jeff Hill - Associate Dean for Admissions at the University of Nebraska Medical Center
Dr. Robert Wigton - Associate Dean of Graduate Medical Education at the University of Nebraska Medical Center
