Openings in Excel and Access classes during the week of March 8-12 
Openings remain in the following Excel and Access classes:
  • Excel Basics (Part 1) - March 9, 2 to 4 p.m. Covers the new 2007 ribbon interface, create a worksheet, cell formatting, autofill, insert/delete cells, rows, columns sheets, simple formulas/functions, printing and saving;
  • Excel Basics (Part 2) - March 10, 2 to 4 p.m. Covers auditing commands, absolute and relative cells, named ranges, formatting and styling, filtering/sorting, conditional formatting, graphical elements, multiple documents.
  • Database Design Concepts -- March 10, 11 a.m. to noon -- Should you use Excel or Access? Learn database terms, do's and don'ts for designing a database, understand table relationships; and
  • Access 2007 Table Basics -- March 11, 9 a.m. to noon. Learn how to work with and create tables -- search, sort, filter data, freeze and hide columns, create table using wizard and from scratch, learn about field properties, import/link Excel worksheets.
