Learn to 'train your brain' at Feb. 15 Olson Center Brown Bag
We all know that exercise is important, but why is it so difficult to start an exercise program and stick with it? How does one's mental attitude affect their ability to maintain an exercise regimen? Join us at the next Olson Center Brown Bag on Tuesday, Feb. 15 at noon in the Eppley Science Hall Amphitheater as Cheryl Sacco, strength and conditioning coach with Omaha Gross High School, who also is a mom and triathlete, will discuss strategies to overcome self-doubt when beginning an exercise program. She will also discuss common obstacles women encounter when beginning an exercise program, as well as the values of goal setting and self-evaluation. Seating is limited; please pre-register by calling the Olson Center at 559-6345. Bring your lunch and refreshments will be provided. The lectures are free. However if you would like to obtain nursing credit, the cost is $10. Payment instructions will be given when you pre-register.
