Midwestern Global Health Conference Sept. 9-11 
Students, residents, faculty and staff in the health professions are invited to attend the Midwestern Regional Global Health conference, titled "Building Global Well-Being: the quest for sustainable solutions," on Sept. 9-11 at the Embassy Suites/Old Market, Omaha.

Conference highlights include a Sept. 9 dinner and keynote address by Dr. Geoffrey Tabin, co-founder of the Himalayan Cataract Project; weekend keynote addresses by global health experts from World Vision, INMED and UNMC College of Public Health; concurrent breakout sessions on global health topics; Walk to Beautiful film; and poster presentations.
