IS&P photo contest winners on display Nov. 17 
The winning photographs from the 5th Annual International Photography Contest, sponsored by International Studies and Programs (IS&P), will be on display Thursday, Nov. 17 in the Central Atrium during IS&P's Study and Travel Abroad Information Session from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Here are the winners in this year's photo contest:
  • Grand Prize: Katalin Rabl (ophthalmology), "Mid-Summer, Middle European Dreams"
  • Faculty/staff: 1st prize: Carolyn Nusrallah (pulmonary medicine), "Morning in Wadi Rum"
  • Faculty/staff: 2nd prize: Margaret Schorn (Respiratory Care, hospital), "Spring Harvest"
  • Faculty/staff: 3rd prize: Betsy Buschkemper (emergency), " Young Artist at Work"
  • Students/residents: 1st prize: Cassie Cash (M2), "In the Eyes of a Child"
  • Students/residents: 2nd prize: Shawn Skaife (M2), "Children of Grandada"
  • Students/residents: 3rd prize: Pankaj Singh (graduate student, biochemistry), "Dilli Haat."

In addition to the above winners, there are 28 honorable mention photos. After Nov. 17, the photos can be viewed in the IS&P office in Annex 4. All of the photo contest entries can be accessed at the IS&P Web site, http://www.unmc.edu/isp, effective Nov. 17. More than 70 photos were entered in the contest.
