AAPS events April 4 on graduate education 
AAPS (American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists Student Chapter) and UNMC Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, College of Pharmacy, are hosting two events on Tuesday, April 4:
  • Jay Sisco, Ph.D., president, American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists, will present "I See the Light!!! So... Now What?" The noon seminar will provide an industrial perspective on what to expect after graduate school. It will be in the College of Pharmacy, Room 2005.
  • Open Forum titled "Excellence in Graduate Education" with panelists: Dr. Jay Sisco, Dr. Ashim Mitra (vice provost, Interdisciplinary Research and Chairman, Division of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Missouri-Kansas City), Dr. Dennis Robinson (chairman, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, UNMC College of Pharmacy) and Dr. David Crouse (vice chancellor for Academic Affairs, UNMC). The forum will be from 1 to 3 p.m. in the College of Pharmacy, Room 2005. The forum is open to all faculty, graduate students and researchers at UNMC, as well as Creighton University.
