Miniature golf tourney June 17 to benefit Ronald McDonald House 
Being able to putt like a pro could pay off. The fifth annual Ronald McDonald House Charities Miniature Golf Tournament will be Saturday, June 17, at Boulder Creek Amusement Center in Omaha. Qualifying competition begins at 10 a.m., with the finals beginning at noon. The winning team will share two tickets on Southwest Airlines, receive trophies and win gift certificates. Two-person teams will play 27 holes of qualifying miniature golf between 10 a.m. and noon. The top four teams qualify for the noon finals and play another 18 holes of miniature golf.

Members of all four teams in the finals receive trophies and gift certificates. All participants receive lunch. Cost to participate is $40 per team. Proceeds benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities in Omaha. Any participant who bags a hole-in-one will draw for a prize from such sponsors as Omaha Steaks, McDonald's, Coca-Cola, Creighton Athletics and Q Cinema 9 Theatres. Participants also can enter a hole-in-one contest with the winner receiving a $50 gift card. For more information, call (402) 346-9377.
