Toy drive for Pine Ridge Nov. 20-Dec. 1 
The UNMC Business & Finance Recognition Team is hosting a toy drive for the children of Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. The Pine Ridge Oglala Lakota (Sioux) Indian Reservation of South Dakota is the second largest Native American Reservation within the U.S. The approximate population is 40,000. Thirty-five percent of the population is under age 18. To help the children of this large reservation celebrate the holidays we are asking you to donate an unwrapped age appropriate toy/gift for the children ages infant to 18 years. The drive will run Nov. 20 through Dec. 1. You may donate a toy/gift at one of the following locations:
  • Facilities Management and Planning
  • Center for Healthy Living
  • General Supply
  • Information Technology Services
  • FACT, 6901 Dodge St.
  • Parking/Cashiering
  • Printing Services
  • Mail Services
  • Purchasing
  • Business Services
  • Human Resources
  • General and Sponsored Programs
  • Accounting Members of the Reward and Recognition Team will be outside Nebraska Cafe Tuesday, Nov. 28 and Wednesday, Nov. 29 during the hours of 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to collect toys/gifts. For more information or questions, contact Charlene Tate at 559-5200 or at ctate@unmc.edu.
