Structural biology and molecular biophysics workshop Aug. 6 
The "Nebraska Center for Structural Biology" will hold its second annual "Structural Biology and Molecular Biophysics Workshop" on Aug. 6 in the Durham Research Center Auditorium. Guest speakers will include Jonathan Chaires, Ph.D., professor of biophysics and senior scientist at the James Graham Brown Cancer Center at the University of Louisville; Ignacio Tinoco, Ph.D., professor in the department of chemistry at the University of California-Berkeley; William Weis, Ph.D., professor of structural biology and molecular and cellular physiology at Stanford University School of Medicine; and Peter Wright, Ph.D., professor and chairman of the department of molecular biology at the Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, Calif. Lunch-and-Learns and a poster session will be held during the workshop, which runs from noon to 2 p.m. in Durham Research Center classrooms and atrium. Registration is required to attend and can be completed at http://ncsb.unmc.edu/workshop.
