UNeMed scholarship opportunity for inventor workshop 
UNeMed Corporations, the technology transfer arm of UNMC, will offer three scholarships worth $295 each to attend an upcoming conference for inventors in the Omaha area. The two-day workshop, sponsored by Creighton University, is titled "From Inventor to Entrepreneur: Bringing Your Ideas to Market."

The Sept. 20 & 21 workshop presents an opportunity to network and make connections that will help transform unique ideas and inventions into the knowledge-driven business world of the 21st century. Participants will complete the program with a blueprint that allows them to consider every important aspect of starting their company. The conference will be at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Downtown Omaha's Historic Old Market.

UNMC faculty, graduate students, post docs and staff are encouraged to apply for the UNeMed Corporation scholarships. More information on the conference. Scholarship applications will be accepted through Sept. 14. To apply, individuals must be an active UNMC faculty member, post doc, staff or student. Applications are available at www.unemed.com.
