Toy drive for Lakota Sioux reseveration Nov. 27-Dec. 14 
Business and Finance and the UNMC Physician Assistant Program will be hosting a toy drive for the Pine Ridge Reservation. The Pine Ridge Oglala Lakota (Sioux) Indian Reservation of South Dakota is the second largest American Indian Reservation within the United States. The approximate population is 40,000 with 35 percent of the population is under age 18. To help the children of this large reservation celebrate the holidays, we are asking you to donate an unwrapped age appropriate toy/gift for the children ages infant to 18 years. The drive will run Nov. 27 - Dec. 14. You may donate a toy/gift at one of the following locations:

  • General supply,
  • Information technology services,
  • FACT (6901 Dodge St.),
  • Parking/cashiering,
  • Printing services,
  • Mail services,
  • Purchasing,

  • General and sponsored programs accounting,
  • Pediatric nephrology,
  • Family medicine Clinic,
  • Internal medicine clinic,
  • Oral surgery clinic,
  • Cardiology clinic,
  • Summit Plaza Clinic,
  • Cardiology office,
  • Family Medicine office,
  • Chancellor's office, and
  • UNMC Physicians Administrative offices located at the Mutual of Omaha Building and Nebraska Cafe.
