Pearson Fellowship application deadline March 1 
The application deadline for the Gladys Pearson Research Fellowship in Pediatric Cancer and Genetics for 2008 is March 1. The fellowship funds are intended to support research for the period of one year, with the potential of a renewal. They are meant to provide supplemental funds to augment research in the area of pediatric cancer/genetics. Funds made available will be up to $20,000 per year, up to two awards. Applicants should have an M.D. or Ph.D. degree at any level of training. In order to apply, the following information needs to be provided:
  • Identification and outline of project (limit to two pages);
  • Letter of Recommendations from the direct mentor and the department chairman. These letters should also state specifically the source of other support funds for the fellow;
  • Curriculum vitae; and
  • Budget and budget justification (one-half to one page).
