Olson Center offers "Stages" educational forum for women older than 60 on March 27
The Olson Center for Women's Health offers health care for every stage of a woman's life. As a woman moves through these stages, her health concerns often change. On Thursday, March 27, the Olson Center will offer an evening forum to address common concerns for women over the age of 60 in the first of four "Stages" forums. Health care providers in the Olson Center will cover the topics of balance and physical therapy, gynecologic cancers and breast cancer. The evening will conclude with a tour of the Olson Center for Women's Health. General registration is $10 which includes dinner. Nursing Registration is $25 and provides 2.25 contact hours of nursing credit. The next "Stages" forums will be in May (for women ages 40-59: sexual health, menopause, anxiety/mental health); July (for women ages 20-39: healthy/lifestyle changes, pregnancy/infertility); and September (for tweens and teens: healthy bodies/healthy lives). Even though each event is focused on women of a specific age group, all interested women are invited to attend. For registration information, please contact the Olson Women's Health Resource Center at 559-6345.
