Redefining "Cold Turkey" the topic of May 20 Olson Center Brownbag
Smoking is the leading cause of preventable morbidity and premature mortality worldwide. But quitting the smoking habit is easier said than done. Why? Join Dr. Tom Klingemann from The Nebraska Medical Center's Outpatient Pharmacy and the Olson Center for Women's Health as he describes the progression of the smoking addiction and redefines for all of us "cold turkey" at the next Olson Center brown bag on Tuesday, May 20 at noon in the UNMC Eppley Science Hall Amphitheater. Seating is limited so please pre-register by calling the Olson Center at 559-6345. Bring your lunch and refreshments will be provided. The lectures are free. However if you would like to obtain nursing credit, the cost to obtain nursing contact hours is $5. Payment instructions will be given when you pre-register.
