KVNO Fall 2008 pledge drive begins Oct. 1 
Classical 90.7 KVNO will kick off its seven-day Fall 2008 Pledge Drive at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 1. As the only all-classical music station in the state, KVNO raises more than 50 percent of its annual operating revenue through community financial contributions. Opportunities for volunteering are still available. Omaha's premier public radio station, Classical 90.7 KVNO, serves and enriches the local, national and world community through unique arts programming that enlightens, entertains and informs. The station provides invaluable educational opportunities for University of Nebraska at Omaha students through training and employment in a professional environment. KVNO staff remains committed to involving an increasing number of listeners, to advancing the excellence and growth of the arts, to maximizing the value of the station's services through communication technologies and to assuming a national leadership role in public broadcasting.
