Reprocessing therapy and relieving distress the focus of Dec. 16 Olson Center Brown Bag 
Have you noticed when remembering a horrible event or time in life it feels like it just happened yesterday by how upset you still can get? Such memories have a lasting affect on you and might leave you emotionally and physically disabled. EMDR (or Reprocessing Therapy) has relieved millions from this kind of stress. Join us at the next Olson Center brown bag lecture on Tuesday, Dec. 16 from noon to 1 p.m. in the UNMC Eppley Science Hall Amphitheater as Ronda Stevens, counselor with UNMC Counseling and Student Development, explains this therapy technique and how it works. Seating is limited; please pre-register by calling the Olson Center at 559-6345. Bring your lunch and refreshments will be provided. The lectures are free. However, if you would like to obtain nursing credit, the cost to obtain nursing contact hours is $5. Payment instructions will be given when you pre-register.
