Documentary about ALS the feature of Feb. 24 Schwartz Center Rounds -- UPDATED 
The College of Public Health and ALS in the Heartland will present a special showing of scenes from "Indestructible," a documentary about living with ALS that offers personal perspectives and lessons for caregivers. The screening will be featured during the Schwartz Center Rounds on Tuesday, Feb. 24 at 11:45 a.m. in the Eppley Science Hall Amphitheater. Rebeccah Rush, producer of "Indestructible," will be a special presenter. The movie was directed by and featured her brother, the late Ben Byer. A panel and audience discussion that includes caregivers and patients will follow. Lunch will be provided for the first 100 attendees. A full viewing of the movie with a discussion with the Rush will take place later in the evening from 6 to 9 p.m. in the College of Nursing, Cooper Auditorium. This event is open to the community. Parking will be available for attendees in the garage at 42nd and Dewey.
