Scottish Rite April 27 community forum focused on making tough decisions in tough times
The Omaha Valley Scottish Rite Masons, in association with the Nebraska Humanities Council, will host a free community forum on Monday, April 27. Business leaders, educators, students, non-profit organizations and others are invited to attend the presentation by Rushworth Kidder, Ph.D., president and founder of the Institute of Global Ethics, on "Moral Courage: Making Tough Decisions in Tough Times." The 7 p.m. event will be at the Scottish Rite Masonic Center, 202 S. 20th St. in Omaha. The Omaha Valley Scottish Rite Masons are staunch supporters of UNMC's Munroe-Meyer Institute and provide funding for Rite Care speech and language clinics. Though free, tickets are required to attend the forum. For more information, contact Curt Edic at (402) 342-1300 or cedic@scottishriteomaha.org. Include your name and address so tickets can be mailed to you.
