Opera Omaha offers discounted tickets to 2013/14 season

Through its partnership with UNMC, Opera Omaha is offering a 15 percent discount on ticket purchases for the 2013/14 season to members of the UNMC community.

Use the promo code UNMCFY14 when purchasing tickets to receive your discount.

Opera Omaha has an exciting season ahead, beginning with one of the most popular operas of all time -- Georges Bizet's "Carmen." The opera will have two performances, at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 1 and 2 p.m. Nov. 3.

The season also includes:

"Agrippina," by George Frideric Handel, performed at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 14 and 2 p.m. Feb. 16.

"Cinderella," by Gioachino Rossini, performed at 7:30 p.m. April 25 and 2 p.m. April 27.
