Target Audience
This accredited continuing education activity is designed for physician assistants, nurse practitioners, advanced practice nurses, registered nurses, primary care providers, and other interested healthcare professionals.
Learning Outcomes
- Articulate new state and federal legislative updates impacting APPs and how to become political advocates for your patients to access safe and quality healthcare.
- Identify best practices and guidelines APPs and nurses can utilize as tools/resources when treating patients for common concerns.
- Explain the roles and responsibilities of Advanced Practice Providers and nurses involving comprehensive management strategies for common concerns and when to refer to the specialists.
