- Discuss the importance of the preceptor's roles for education and leadership using the Ulrich Precepting Model
- Describe the novice to expert framework when considering levels of skills, knowledge, and competence to assist with your approach to coaching preceptees including the use of instructional technologies.
- Articulate how to provide individualized action-oriented feedback utilizing the Five-Step Format to create behavior changes when caring for patients and interacting with the healthcare team
- Explain how the preceptor-preceptee relationship can be managed using strategies such as goal-setting and outcome development to overcome difficult situations, involving performance, skills, and DEI issues as derived from case scenarios amongst the healthcare team.
