Target Audience:

This accredited continuing education activity is designed for nurses, administrators, and other interested members of the healthcare team who provide or support preceptorship or clinical instruction to new employees or students.

Accreditation

In support of improving patient care, University of Nebraska Medical Center is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

The University of Nebraska Medical Center designates this activity for 6.50 ANCC contact hours. Nurses should only claim credit for the actual time spent participating in the activity.

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) provided funding for this training. To demonstrate utilization of the funding, grantees are asked to collect and report participant information that HRSA can aggregate and report for all funded grants. For example, HRSA can report the percentages of participants who have various degrees, or the percentages participating from various professions.
