  • Target Audience

    This accredited continuing education activity is designated for all nurses, physical therapists, and other health care professionals involved in wound, ostomy, and continence care.

    Learning Outcomes
    • Integrate key updates from the 2025 NPIAP Pressure Injury Guidelines into clinical practice, focusing on advancements in prevention, assessment, and management to enhance patient care.
    • Identify evidence-based strategies for recognizing and managing skin failure across diverse healthcare settings, ensuring early identification and appropriate interventions.
    • Examine the distinct roles and contributions of interdisciplinary healthcare teams - including nurses, physical therapists, and other professionals - in driving change and implementing best practices in wound, ostomy, and continence (WOC) care.
    • Foster collaboration and patient-centered care by utilizing best practices in WOC management, ensuring a unified approach to improving patient outcomes across healthcare settings.
