Target Audience
This accredited continuing education activity is designated for all healthcare providers, researchers, and scholars either regional or internation, interested in transitions, aging, or phenomenological methods.
Learning Outcomes
- Articulate phenomenology as a way of thinking, with applications in research, education, or practice.
- Identify the philosophical insights from Phenomenological Reflections on Mental Health and Illness, and how they relate to personal or population-based experiences with mental illness.
- Explore methodological advancements in phenomenological research, including improvements or new approaches incorporating a hermeneutic lens.
Accreditation
In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by University of Nebraska Medical Center and the Institute for Hermeneutic Phenomenology. University of Nebraska Medical Center is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team. ANCC contact hours will be provided. Total hours are still being determined.
