This accredited continuing education activity is designed for Licensed RNs who work with students and are responsible for providing feedback; such as nurse educators, faculty, clinical instructors, clinical staff instructor/designated education unit nurses, clinical graduate assistants, preceptors or staff nurses.
Educational Objectives
- Foster faculty awareness and strategies for effectively communicating academic performance concerns, supporting students through challenges, and addressing the impact of course failure.
- Identify and address common fears and anxieties faced by nursing students in clinical settings through tailored communication styles, teaching strategies, and a supportive learning environment.
- Utilize well-structured questioning techniques, guided by Bloom's Taxonomy and Gardner's Matrix, to promote critical thinking, student engagement, and deeper learning in both clinical and classroom settings.
