31st Annual Pharmacological Conference for Advanced Practice Providers - Pharmacological Management of Clients across the Lifespan

Target Audience:
Nurse practitioners, advanced practice nurses, physician associates, primary care providers, and other interested healthcare professionals.
Purpose:
The purpose of this conference is to enable the learner to sue state-of-the-art clinical knowledge about pharmacology to manage selected, complex, acute, and chronic patient populations across the life span.
Learning Outcomes:
- Apply evidence-based pharmacologic strategies and current clinical guidelines to the management of acute and chronic conditions across clinical settings.
- Adjust medication therapies based on patient-specific factors, including comorbidities, risk profiles, treatment response, and emerging evidence.
- Evaluate the safety, efficacy, and risk profiles of pharmacologic therapies while implementing safe prescribing practices, including stewardship principles, PDMP utilization, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Analyze barriers to medication access, including cost and coverage, while incorporating strategies to optimize adherence and therapeutic outcomes.
