N95 Respirator Limited Reuse - Healthcare Professionals Providing Clinical Care

In this new video we demonstrate potential approaches for donning and doffing of an N95 filtering facepiece respirator in a Limited Reuse situation.

Limited Reuse refers to the practice of using the same N95 respirator for multiple encounters with the same patient but removing it ("doffing") after each encounter.

The respirator is stored in between encounters to be put on again ("donned") prior to the next encounter with a patient.

This video was developed based on the CDC guidelines for NIOSH approved N95 respirators.

For the full set of guidelines please visit the following CDC website: https://www.cdc.gov/niosh/topics/hcwcontrols/recommendedguidanceextuse.html

Anyone who would like to incorporate the video into their organization's LMS can download a copy via the "Download Media" section at the foot of the website.
