UNMC Undergraduate Primary Care Scholar – A specialized track that aligns within the established BSN program.

If you see yourself forming relationships with patients, watching them and their families grow, and teaching them about their condition, consider specializing in primary care. As a Primary Care Scholar, you will conduct a larger percentage of your clinical experiences in a primary care clinic and add in one additional credit hour for three of your semesters. This additional education will provide a focused learning environment with an emphasis on the skills needed to be a successful primary care nurse.
