Target Audience

This live activity is intended for nurses and nursing students affiliated with Sigma Region 3 who have an interest in promoting excellence in nursing through the dissemination of clinical, leadership, educational, and research-based scholarship.

Learning Outcomes

• Analyze current evidence and scholarly work presented at the symposium to determine relevance for improving clinical practice, workforce outcomes, and health policy.
• Apply principles of knowledge translation and implementation science to integrate research findings into clinical, organizational, or population health settings.
• Evaluate the quality, rigor, and practice implications of interprofessional research and quality improvement initiatives presented during the conference.
• Demonstrate effective interprofessional communication and collaboration strategies when disseminating scholarly work and engaging in team-based discussions.
• Develop an actionable plan to translate learned evidence into practice change, quality improvement initiatives, or policy advancement within participants’ local or regional settings.
