BioSeal Portable System - Sealing Remains

In this video we demonstrate sealing remains in a bio-safety level 4 containment body bag using a BioSeal System 5 Portable System.

The advantage of the portable system is that in addition to functioning via a standard AC outlet, it has its own power supply which allows for use in locations where access to a standard AC outlet is not available.

It is appropriate for use in clinical and non-clinical locations, by healthcare professionals, law enforcement, coroners, and by disaster response teams after a mass casualty or pandemic event.

To develop pathogen specific protocols for the safe handling of human remains for your organization, visit the CDC website below for guidance:

Face Coverings for Public Use

In this video, we’ll discuss important points for safe use of cloth face coverings.

Respirators and surgical masks are important tools for health care providers. Cloth face coverings allow non-healthcare providers to stay safe without impacting critical health care supplies during a pandemic or epidemic in our community.

Wearing cloth face coverings will contain most droplets that are spread during common activities such as talking, singing, coughing and sneezing.

The CDC website provides additional information about creating your own cloth face coverings.

N95 Respirator Limited Reuse - Healthcare Professionals Providing Clinical Care

In this video we demonstrate potential approaches for donning and doffing of an N95 filtering facepiece respirator in a Limited Reuse situation. This video was developed based on the CDC guidelines for NIOSH approved N95 respirators.

Please note: During this extraordinary time of the COVID-19 pandemic, institutions are developing methods to extend wear and reuse N95 respirators. These methods are needed in order to preserve the supply of N95 respirators for patient care. The information in this video should not be interpreted to contradict facility-specific directions and special decontamination and reuse programs.
