Responsible Early STD Prevention Education and Community Testing

The RESPECT Clinic offers confidential HIV and STD testing and counseling; treatment is also provided for common STD's.  The clinic is open on Mondays from 5:30-7 PM for appointments and walk-ins although it will take another 1-2 hours to finish seeing all patients.   

Due to the nature of the health issues seen at the RESPECT Clinic, patients do not need to demonstrate financial need in order to be seen.  Patients are asked to pay a $15.00 co-pay for STD testing, which can be waived if requested.  Patients returning to receive test results are not asked to pay for the visit.

As a student, you will have the opportunity to interview patients and perform necessary physical exams and tests.  Volunteer physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners attend each clinic to assist you in examining, diagnosing, and treating all RESPECT patients.
